I have just been in Kathmandu for a day.
The city is like live wire - a buzzing, bustling epicenter where incredible beauty clashes starkly with almost incomprehensible poverty. This is Asia after all.
My immediate reaction to a place of such incongruity was 'what a mess!'
And it is.
Garbage litters the streets in stinking, sweaty piles, oozing onto the footpath , simply dripping with careless intention.
